At what age did you start acting?
AK: I think I was an actress forever! My first memory is when I was 2. I often did a little show in our living room. I got my whole family to watch, and my big sister was the announcer. She said, “Here’s April!” and I jumped on stage and sang Frozen without knowing all words. If you mean movies, my first movie was when I was 2 and a half. I played a homeless with my mom and sister.
How did you first hear about Verticals and do you have a favorite one that you have filmed so far?
AK: I was 4! It was Mommy Don’t Cry Daddy from Sorry. It was my first movie and one of my favorites. On the last day of filming, I even had my 5th birthday!
If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be to and why?
AK: I want to go to Labubuland! I was invited to film in China, where Labubuland is. My family couldn’t go this time, but I will for sure go later! And I want to go to Japan to see the Ghibli Museum. I love Miyazaki movies!
Do you have any 2026 resolutions that you would like to share with us?
