At what age did you start acting?
LM: I started acting at 11, in 2021 when I audtioned for the role of Josh for Best Foot Forward. Someone tagged me on instagram for a casting call and I gave it a shot. Figured it was another way I could spread awareness for the amputee community.
What’s been your favorite project that you have worked on so far?
LM: That is a tough one! But I will say Best Foot Forward. Not only was it my first experience but I made so many amazing friends and got to live in Los Angeles for 4 months. it also was the reason I got to work with my TV Mom again in 2024.
Are you working on anything new that you can share with us?
LMT: here is one project that I worked on last summer with my TV Mom. Not only is she now my Movie Mom as well but I got to continue spreading awareness with this project and it involves my number one passion, baseball!
Do you have a favorite sports team?
LM: Yes of course, The Philadelphia Phillies!
How do you spread the love?
LM: I continue to do advocacy work in New Jersey. I visit schools to talk about being an amputee and I am a patient advocate for a bill they are trying to pass in New Jersey called So EveryBODY Can Move. I recently testified in front of the senate and the appropriations committee. This bill will mandate insurance companies to cover the cost of sports prosthetics so that all disabled athletes have what they need to remain healthy and active. We are hoping the bill reaches the Governor’s Office very soon!
Do you support any organizations or charities?
LM: YES! The Challenged Athletes Foundation. I have been a CAF athlete since 2017. Because of them and their support, I am able to compete in the sport I love with all of my able bodied peers.
Would you like to share your social media platforms with us?
