My Interview With Audrey Bennet

At what age did you start acting?

AB: I did camps and regional shows starting around five. I got to play Michael in “Peter Pan Jr.” at the Junior Theater Festival when I was six. When I was seven, I auditioned for “The Sound of Music”!

What’s your favorite broadway show to see?

AB: I have so many favorites! But the first one that pops into my head is “Matilda”! I’ve seen it three times – because I wanted to see my friends in it! I saw it about a month ago with Aviva Winick, and the year before that with Brooklyn Shuck! They were both amazing!

What’s your favorite movie to watch?

AB: People might think that I’m crazy, but I really loved “Tomorrowland”! My favorite character was Athena, the robot, played by Raffey Cassidy! She was smart and tough!

Where’s your favorite place to travel to?

AB: New York City! Easy peasy!

What’s your favorite color?

AB: Pink! I’ve always loved pink. 🙂

What’s your favorite project that you’ve done?

AB: The Sound of Music! It’s a very powerful play, and has a great message. And I love hanging out with my friends on tour!

What do you do on your free time?

AB: On tour we go swimming a lot. We’ve also been ice skating in several cities. Back home I love playing outside with my neighbors and taking horseback riding lessons. I also love roller coasters! And reading – I’m on the fifth Harry Potter book and I read it backstage almost every day!
